Crystal Bay Beach Resort, Lamai Beach (Koh Samui)

My stay at this hotel was a mix of fantastic and needing some improvements. The massive room with a jumbo-sized balcony and walk-in closet was unlike the one I paid for, offering a potential sea view that could change the whole vibe. However, the room could use some renovation.

I had such a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered the most spectacular views from the balcony and were very roomy and nice. However, there was a bad sewer smell emanating from the toilet that got worse after using the bathroom, indicating the need for repairs.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, facing the beach, were clean and comfortable with a large walk-in shower and good air conditioning. However, the sea view room was a bit noisy through the air vents in the bathroom. The service was friendly and helpful, but there were some issues like touching food items during breakfast service. The location was fantastic, being on one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Samui, although the accommodation wasn't as great. The dining options were a bit poor, with limited choices and service issues related to payment. Overall, a decent stay with some highlights and room for improvement.

Despite the challenge of sand, the cleaning efforts were commendable, and the wet room shower was spacious. The value for money aspect was reasonable.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were lovely, spacious, and had great views of the sea. The only downside was that they don't have the style of bathroom I prefer. The wide toilet, cleanliness, and acceptable water power made up for it, though. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the beach, providing an incredible atmosphere.
